Maintenance of fireplaces

If you follow our principles in  parts: making fire in fireplace and wood and it storage, you avoid undue and frequent cleaning fireplace and chimney.

Regular and routine maintenance of the fire depends on how the manufacturer of fireplace determined it. We recommend, however, follow the following principles:

Regularly pay attention to cleaning the glass on fireplace. Otherwise, the glass of fireplace can with often heating ,,bake in“  . Follow the following principles:

    Cleaning of interior of fireplace made at least once a year, every spring after the heating in the fireplace. This work, do the manufacturer's recommendations listed in the instructions or to take professional firms or chimney sweep.

    Control eventually chimney cleaning by chimneysweeper  is needed at least 3 times a year. This is again dependent on the manufacturer's recommendations, the manner and intensity of heating but in particular the use of appropriate wood.
